- Can identify the types, properties and common applications of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and demonstrate an understanding of common testing and treatment procedures.
- Describing and explaining the oxy-acetylene gas welding process.
- Describing the shielded metal arc welding process
- Selecting, assembling and conducting pre-operational checks of oxy-acetylene gas welding equipment.
- Preparing for the oxy-fuel cutting operation.
- Cutting the material.
- Preparing work pieces prior to welding.
- Welding metals with oxy-acetylene gas welding process in the down-hand position.
