A credit bearing CETA registered skills programme offered on a full-time basis over 4 weeks.
To train new entrants as well as experienced construction industry stakeholders on how to conduct planning activities associated with the fabrication of formwork, and to prepare the work area where the formwork is to be fabricated.
Learners accredited with this course will be able to fabricate, erect and strip steel and timber formwork for straight walls, columns, bases, T-walls, decks, beams and single flight staircases in accordance with working drawing specifications.
Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 2.
- Fabricate, erect and strip steel and timber formwork for T-walls, decks, beams and single flight staircase.
- Fabricate, erect and strip steel and timber formwork for curved, sloped and e-walls and curved bases with a kicker and incorporating a waterbar.

US14224 - Fabricate, erect and strip steel and timber formwork for T-walls, decks and beams and single flight staircases - NQF Level 3 - 12 Credits
US14225 - Fabricate, erect and strip steel and timber formwork for curved, sloped and E-walls and curved bases with a kicker, and incorporating a waterbar - NQF Level 4 - 20 Credits
